Neighborhood Day, May 10. Come one! Come all! Put a leash on your dog(s), a smile on your face, and come join us as ArlingtonDogs marches its Dog Brigade in the Annual Arlington Neighborhood Day Parade! When? This Saturday, May 10. Line-up is at 1:15pm. Parade starts at 2pm. Where? Meet at the Clarendon Dog Park, 13th and Highland in Clarendon. The parade goes from that area to the Courthouse Plaza. What? The parade theme is "All Neighborhoods, All Walks of Life", so we're celebrating the many ways dogs contribute to society: search and rescue, entertainment, athletic competition, guiding eyes, therapy dogs, canine companions for independence, family members, etc. All leashed dogs welcome (no Flexi-leads, please)! ArlingtonDogs will provide the float, signs, and water for you and the dogs. Free frisbees! Maybe even a bandana for your dog(s). No experience necessary. No sign-up sheet. Just show up at Clarendon dog park by 1:15pm on Saturday or look for the dogs in the line-up and jump on in!
